communicable medium. does the medium, in its pragmatism, resist the
form of more elegant prose, or may the mind drive out the life and press
it into some more aesthetic order? if so, is this life bound in form more
beautiful, or does the beauty lie in some Dadaistic dashing of scattered
fancies and arbitrary anachronisms? wherewith may we determine
wherein lies the palpable pathos of a journal?
